There is no need to be afraid of handguns and this course will teach you why. Its true women confront serious threats today - threats men don't face. This makes it even more important for women to know how to use a handgun for self-defense. Take this course as preparation for the TN Handgun Carry Permit Class or simply to brush up on skills you haven't used recently. The focus here is on safe gun handling and basic marksmanship. After learning about the types and functions of different handguns, we will help maximize your ability to deliver accurate hits with a handgun - pistol or revolver. Women's Handgun also covers weapons presentation, ready positions, loading/unloading, malfunction clearances, carry positions, movement, and more. Upon completion of the handgun fundamentals, you will have will have a solid foundation in handgun safety and you will be ready for more in-depth training. Open to women of all ages. Students under 18 must have parental consent.
Length: 4 hours.
You will need a handgun, 100 rounds of ammunition, ear and eye protection (or use ours) and comfortable clothing. If you need a handgun, contact us - we can provide what you need.
