Frontier Firearms - the way gun shops ought to be!
Founded in 2000, Frontier Firearms has grown from a single 20 foot x 20 foot room to an 11,000 sq. ft. retail shooting center with two computer controlled indoor shooting ranges that we opened in June 2010. Finally after ten years we scraped together enough financing and capital to build the store and ranges that we had been dreaming of. Angie and I didn't we had to do it the hard way, but that was nothing new to us. We come from working class families; her is Dad a retired cop and mine was hourly employee at X-10. Her Mom works at the jail in Roane County and mine was a school Teacher in Anderson County.

In any case at Frontier our East Tennessee roots run deep and just like my Great Grandfather Best ran his furniture business in Maryville and my Grandfather Williams ran his service station in Madisonville, we understand and still hold dear the time honored, old fashioned ideals of Value, Service and Integrity.

In addition to our gun shop, we offer two of the brightest, safest, cleanest, state-of-the-art, computerized shooting ranges in Tennessee. Each range is equipped with ATS - Active Target Shooting!© with targets that run, turn or spin on their own!
At Frontier Firearms Training Academy and our security guard academy TAC Training Academy (TAC for Tactical), we offer the best training available. Our nationally accredited NRA and State certified firearms instructors offer the Tennessee Handgun Carry Permit classes and a number of other courses from beginner to expert.
