Gun sales are again increasing as folk feel a need to take greater responsibility for their personal protection.
Gun shop and range owner Brant Williams says his business has seen a recent increase in new firearms buyers.
"With the recent terrorist attack only 98 miles away in Chattanooga, TN (more...) folks have felt uneasy that terrorism has hit so close to home. As a result people are rethinking their notions about self-protection."
Williams explains that more senior citizens and women are buying firearms and taking training courses. "This has been going on for some time... more and more older folk and women are buying guns and taking the class for their Handgun Carry Permit class (more...). They tell us that the world has changed and they no longer feel safe in their own homes on when out and about around town." (more)
